Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Book Publisher to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the publishing industry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to helping authors succeed. This role involves overseeing the entire publishing process, from manuscript evaluation to final distribution, ensuring that each book is produced to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manuscript Evaluation: Assess submitted manuscripts for quality, market potential, and adherence to our submission guidelines. Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to authors.
Project Management: Oversee the entire book production process, coordinating with editors, designers, and printers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Editing and Proofreading: Collaborate with professional editors to ensure manuscripts are polished and error-free. Review and approve final edits before publication.
Design and Formatting: Work closely with graphic designers to create visually appealing book covers and professionally formatted interiors that meet industry standards.
Publishing and Distribution: Manage the printing process and coordinate with distribution partners to ensure books are available across multiple platforms, including online retailers and bookstores.
Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote published books. This includes social media campaigns, press releases, and book launch events.
Author Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to authors throughout the publishing process. Address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Quality Assurance: Conduct final reviews of all book components to ensure they meet our high standards of quality before going to print.
